Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE) is developing an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar for Tejas LCA Mk-2.

Delivering a lecture at the eighth International Radar Symposium India-2011 (IRSI-11) in Bengaluru on December 2, 2011, LRDE Director S Vardarajan said that the radar is expected to be flight-worthy and "proven in all aspects" in two-three years. [via HT]
